PORT ORCHARD, WA, September 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- VanMarter Project's Rock album "Don' t Look Back" was released June 8, 2011 and was featured on the groundbreaking Discovery HD series "Catchin' Air", both produced by Hydrus Media. A national tour promoting the Don't Look Back album is in development and VanMarter Project has made a commitment to play a benefit concert for a local school in every city they visit. All ticket proceeds and 25% of album sales from these local benefit concerts will be donated to the school's Performing Arts Department. Students from each school's dance, choir and band classes will be performing with VanMarter Project on stage during each concert event.

VanMarter Project will be visiting the Salt Lake City, Utah area to initialize this effort. During their week long visit, they will appear on the ABC 4 Good Things Utah and Park City TV Mountain Views shows to discuss their campaign. A benefit concert for Granite Park Junior High School located at 3031 S. 200 E. Salt Lake City, Utah will be held October 6th from 6:00-7:00pm. Ticket prices are $2 for students and $5 general admission and may be purchased online at HydrusMedia.com under "Tour Dates" on the VanMarter Project profile page, their online store, Facebook page, or at the door at 5:30pm.

As an Empty Vessel Affiliate Artist, VanMarter Project will also be representing the Music Matters Project which receives donations and musical instruments to provide music education, music appreciation, and intervention for youth ages 6-18 in underserved and at-risk urban areas in America. "It's all in vain if the only thing we have done is create 'good music' without impacting the heart and soul of humanity" quotes Gerry Van Mansfeld, Executive Director of Empty Vessel Music www.emptyvessel.org.
