Jess Parks Joins Sound Physicians as President and COO
Sound Physicians, a leading hospitalist organization today announced the addition of Jess Parks as president and chief operating officer.

As the organization's operational leader, he is focused on advancing the Sound Physicians' position as a preeminent provider in hospital medicine and ensuring the organization delivers measurable results to its hospital partners.

Throughout Parks' 25-year career he has been a passionate and creative leader focused on driving meaningful change to healthcare. Most recently he served as general manager of DaVita's VillageHealth care management business. Prior to DaVita, Parks was a partner at Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company with a strong practice in healthcare, and chief financial officer of a large, capitated, physician group. He also cofounded VISICU, the creator of eICU management systems for hospitals.

Parks holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in engineering and applied sciences from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration degree focusing on healthcare management from the Wharton School of Business.
