Second Annual Techie Awards Nominations Open
The 2011 Techie Awards are open for nominations until October 1, 2011

SEATTLE, WA, July 31, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Techie Awards (www.techieawards.com), reserved for the companies that are led by the truly pioneering techies, today announced that nominations are now being accepted for this year's award competition. The Techie Awards are designed to honor companies and organizations, at all stages of development, which are paving a path with an innovative technology product.

The 2011 Techie Award nominations are open to any company, public or private, that fall within six main technology categories, including Healthcare, Games, Green/Energy, Mobile, Network/Internet, and finally Startup Software Innovation of the Year. Nominations for each category will be accepted until October 1, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The 2011 Techie Award winners will be announced on December 1, 2011.

Last year, there were three main categories Software, Green and Mobile. The Techie Awards winners were selected from more than 100 nominations and were presented to software-based technology products that have driven innovation in their respective categories.
