The Millionair Club Charity Honors Diversity on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
SEATTLE, WA, January 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- WHO: The Millionair Club Charity (www.millionairclub.org), a non-profit committed to serving Seattle's working homeless community, will host a celebration of diversity on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
WHAT: In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., this will be a celebration of his dedication toward a society where those that were often disenfranchised and isolated from the mainstream had the opportunity to achieve their dreams and live a dignified existence. The Millionair Club Charity will hold its first annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration with all members of the Seattle community, including several elected officials such as, Jim McDermott, Nick Licata and Harium Martin-Morris. The itinerary includes a traditional West African storytelling dance performance by Ocheami, followed by a buffet-style brunch sponsored by Schwan's Home Service of Auburn. The keynote speaker for the celebration will be James D. Bible, President of the Seattle King County NAACP, who recognizes that Martin Luther King Jr. gave his life while trying to help workers achieve dignity and fairness in employment - a reflection of the goals of The Millionair Club Charity.
