Customers to train with the pros on lawn and garden and other construction equipment

BELLINGHAM, WA, July 29, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Local homeowners and contractors alike can learn to use a variety of lawn and garden and construction equipment for free at Birch Equipment stores. The public is now invited to learn alongside Birch Equipment employees during weekly training sessions. The company is dedicated to training its workforce, averaging 5,000 paid training hours a year. Extending the training to customers is a way to offer great customer service and improve the rental experience. A training schedule and weekly topics is posted in the document "Birch Training Schedule 2009" which can be found by clicking on the following link: http://birchequipment.com/about.aspx.

The decision to open the weekly training seminars to anyone is a natural extension to the company's focus on training. As a leading dealer and distributor of Genie & Gehl products, Birch has offered Train-the-Trainer classes to the contracting community for the last few years. The classes are instructed by certified Birch staff and factory reps, combining classroom instruction with extensive hands on equipment training. Participants will be certified to provide the necessary training to qualify their own employees as Genie scissor lift and boom lift operators, and Gehl reach forklift operators.
