/Washington News Articles/ - BELLEVUE, WA, August 17, 2008 -- Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., software as a service provider to more than 1,200 hospitals in the United States, congratulates the award winners of the Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals : Performance Improvement Leaders.

The Thomson study identifies hospital management teams that have led their organizations to achieve the fastest rate of consistent annual organizational improvement over five years.

Seven hospitals on the list are currently implementing Sentri7, a web-based patient surveillance tool which can help with hospital quality performance improvement initiatives. At Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, for example, pre- vs. post-Sentri7 implementation data showed a 500% increase in total cardiology pharmacy interventions documented and a 1600% increase in cost savings attributable to those interventions.
